Elements 114 and 116 Proposed Names

Element 114 is temporarily known as Ununquadium with the symbol Uuq. As of December 1, 2011 the name Flerovium (Fl), in honor of the physicist Georgiy Flerov, was proposed. The element 116 may become Livermorium (Lv), after Livermore laboratory in California where the element was discovered. Elements 113, 115, and 118 are still under review.
